Forbes article focuses on the business power of the social media revolution.

With a passion for technology and management, I recently had the opportunity to co-write an article on both. Together with Karl Moore, management thinker and McGill Professor, we look at the business value of social media. The article, From Social to Collaborative Networks focuses on the value that business can gain when embracing social media.

More than the technology, there is a mindset that is embedded in people who use social media. This generation views social media as a tool for staying connected, communication, and problem solving. Social media has become a collaborative playground with users freely providing content for open discussion. The article explores this collaborative mindset and provides examples of firms who have benefited from cultivating and leveraging the power of networks.
